The goals of Project Fightbook are to:
- Propose a unified methodology of research in this discipline.
- Create and maintain a platform that will facilitate:

- contribution to overall pool of knowledge,
- authorship attribution,
- knowledge spread,
- research involving numerous test subjects (crowdsourcing).
- Make certain that access to knowledge database is maintained and available.
- Work in tandem with SHEMAS, Acta Periodica Duellatorum and other official bodies to expand and popularize quality research of HEMA.
